Things to know about providing OT services remotely

Effective February 1st, 2024, PEICOT is announcing key changes to the registration rules for the delivery of occupational therapy services virtually.
Key changes include:
- Occupational therapists registered in other provinces can provide remote/virtual services to Island residents.
- To provide virtual care to clients in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Alberta (for Restricted Activities), or Quebec, occupational therapists must be registered within those provinces.
