Competencies for Occupational Therapists in Canada

The publication Competencies for Occupational Therapists in Canada, available in English and French, was put together through collaboration by the Association of Canadian Occupational Therapy Regulatory Organizations, the Association of Canadian Occupational Therapy University Programs, and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.

The document describes the first unified set of competencies for occupational therapists in Canada from entry-level to experienced practitioners. It comprises knowledge and understanding, interpersonal and practical skills, ethical values, and occupational therapy responsibilities and attitudes.
