Introducing the Quality Assurance program

Important—a new renewal requirement

The new mandatory program allows College registrants to identify new areas of learning and then participate in continuous quality-improving activities that reflect evolving practice and the expectations for safe, effective and ethical services.

The new Quality Assurance (QA) program kicks off during the upcoming renewal period. 

This year, in addition to the other renewal requirements, each College registrant must identify two professional learning goals before the renewal information is due on March 15, 2025.

The College has provided helpful tools for members - a self-assessment tool, and fillable forms to identify the learning goals, and plan and record the learning activities.

Next registration year, in March 2026, the requirement will include reporting on completed learning activities.
